Abhishek Chitnis is a highly experienced Staff Engineer with a focus on High Voltage EV Battery Development at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. He has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has held several key positions in various companies. At A123 Systems, Abhishek served as the BMS Program Lead, responsible for planning and executing the BMS development platforms and its customer application programs. He led a team of systems design, systems test, HiL test, and SW engineers. He also held and successfully executed other positions within the company such as 'BMS-Problem Resolution Manager' and 'BMS-Product Release Manager'. At FCA, Abhishek served as the BMS - Systems Design and Release Engineer, responsible for the entire BMS development, integration, and testing. He served as the single point of contact between FCA and the BMS supplier and also between the other ePT component teams. Abhishek has also worked at Hybrid Design Services as a Systems Engineer - EE and Controls, with the main focus on Power Electronics and Controls and BMS. He has worked on 48V Li-ion batteries, including System Design, System testing, DVPnR, and DFMEA. Abhishek has a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada Reno and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pune. During his Masters, his focus was in Power Electronics and Power Electronics design, Control of Electric Drives. Abhishek is an US citizen, currently living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is highly skilled in test and integration and has a relevant experience of 10.78 years. Abhishek is an expert in BMS development and has a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
