Abhishek Choudhary is a seasoned software engineer with over 13 years of experience in software development and 7 years of experience in designing and architecting large scale distributed systems. He has worked on various projects in the healthcare, finance, e-commerce, ad-tech and system-on-chip platforms using various Big Data and Machine Learning technologies over AWS, Azure and GCP. Abhishek has designed and developed more than 3 distributed data and ML engineering platforms from concept to fully operational status, handling millions of customers. Abhishek has worked closely with leadership, C-level and leading international Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams for more than 5 years. He is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at Bayer, where he is developing a big data distributed platform for Real World Evidence. The platform is heavily focused on Machine Learning and large scale data processing using Open Source technologies. Abhishek has also worked as a Lead Data Engineer at Daimler Mobility, where he built a Data Lake using Spark, Druid, Kafka and other related technologies to support BI/BA/warehouse team. He also built several data pipelines on top of PySpark/Kubernetes for feature engineering & deep learning based model development. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at GetYourGuide, Abhishek developed a Machine learning Distributed Adtech platform for Realtime Bidding Platform using Bigdata and ML technologies. This platform was the main source for 80% of the company’s total revenue. Abhishek is currently working on a Healthcare based Machine Learning Operation Infrastructure (MLOPs) platform used by Data Scientists, researchers & analysts. He is deeply involved in researching new AI/ML/Data Engineering Tools & Technologies. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Engineering College, Raipur and a Bachelor's degree in PCM from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chirmiri (Chattishgarh). He has expertise in Data Engineering, ML, Big Data, AWS, AI, Azure, GCP, Software Engineering, Infra, Deep Learning, Spark, Kubernetes and Kafka.
