Abhishek Deshmukh is a skilled Software Engineer with a focus on High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies. He is currently working as a Software Design Engineer II at AMD, where he is a part of the HPC team responsible for analyzing and optimizing various applications using AMD toolchain on AMD platforms. Abhishek has been instrumental in developing and optimizing HPC-based use cases and applications on different CPUs and GPGPUs, using parallel programming and technologies like OpenMP, MPI, SYCL, CUDA, DPCPP, and OpenCL. Prior to joining AMD, Abhishek worked as an HPC Application Developer at TCS, where he collaborated with domain experts and customers to develop and optimize various HPC-based use cases and applications on different CPUs and GPGPUs. He focused on application optimization and benchmarks over various platforms including Intel Xeon Servers, Intel GPUs, NVIDIA GPUs using parallel programming and technologies like OpenMP, MPI, SYCL, CUDA, DPCPP, and OpenCL. Abhishek also worked as an Engineer Intern at TCS, where he worked on code optimization and parallelization with OpenMP and MPI and wrote an R wrapper to call optimized machine learning use cases in the project. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research. He also completed his high school education from S.S.D.V. Dhyanpeeth. Abhishek has a total of 3.43 years of relevant experience and is proficient in software engineering and machine learning. He is a dedicated and innovative professional with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality results.
