Abhishek Jain is a passionate robotist with a strong background in industrial automation, robotics, and supply chain management. He is driven by his curiosity about the mechanism behind our ability to think and aims to replicate this ability in artificial beings such as robots. Abhishek has a deep understanding of artificial intelligence, motion planning, and controls, and has a rich experience in simulation and robotics software such as ROS, Gazebo, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360. Abhishek is a self-motivated individual who can actively take initiatives and enjoys working in collaborative environments to learn multiple aspects of the project. During his undergraduate years at IIT Roorkee, he led his robotics club for two years and participated in many robotics competitions at both national and international levels. Abhishek's bachelor's degree in Production and Industrial Engineering has given him a strong understanding of the core fundamentals of working in an industry like project management, supply-chain management, and quality control. Currently, Abhishek is working as a Field Support Engineer at Outrider, where he is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for autonomous yard operations. He has also worked as a Graduate Student Worker at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he managed databases of student applications, conducted data analysis for judging score-sheets and student participation, and managed event conduct and participation. Abhishek holds a Master of Science degree in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he gained expertise in deep learning and Python. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from IIT. Abhishek is a curious learner who believes that robotics is the future and is motivated to contribute to this ever-growing community.
