Abhishek Kasina is a digital doer, thinker, and learner with a passion for the future of social, mobile, and decentralized internet. As the Chief Product Officer at Livspace, he is leading a world-class technology team to build the dominant platform for all things home. Abhishek is responsible for building the world's first omnichannel platform that scales across mixed realities, and has led the partnership-backed market entry into Malaysia and KSA with IKEA and Al-Sulaiman Group. He has also led the acquisition of Qanvast to drive content-led growth. Abhishek has over 9 years of relevant experience, during which he has created the world's first full-stack platform for the home interiors and renovation industry as the Senior Product Manager at Livspace. He has also been the Head of Product - SuperApp, Platform, and New Ventures at Careem, where he led the transformation from a ride-hailing app to the everyday super-app across 21 markets. Abhishek has launched 6 new verticals across deliveries, payments, mass transportation, and personal mobility over a span of 2 years and scaled them to multi-million dollar revenues. He has also created the world's first-ever joint venture of a public transport authority (Dubai RTA) with a private ride-hailing company to launch Hala, the fastest growing vertical at Careem. Abhishek has a Master's degree in Management from the London Business School, a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Squared Online, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is a firm believer in disruption as the prevention method against stagnation and decline, and believes that connectivity is the disrupting agent for companies and individuals in this period and beyond. Abhishek is also a startup mentor and investor, and keeps on top of the latest trends such as the metaverse, mixed realities, web 3.0, internet of things, machine-to-machine, and flexible working.
