Abhishek Kumar is a highly skilled MTS 3 at VMware, with over 9 years of relevant experience in Android application and framework development. He has a proven track record of providing innovative solutions to complex problems. Abhishek has worked with Samsung for a considerable period, where he has held various positions, including Chief Engineer, Lead Engineer, and Software Engineer. Abhishek's highlights include co-owning a patent for a new method of providing notifications in phones, which was launched in Samsung J2 2016 and J7Max with the name of "Smart Glow." He has also developed "Lock Screen Stories" feature in collaboration with InMobi and "Chat Over Video" feature that allows seamless chatting while watching videos. Additionally, he led the development Notification and Quick Settings module of Samsung's Android 11 GO edition. Abhishek's international experience includes working at Samsung HQ, South Korea, for 170 days spanning 5 business trips and Samsung Electronics America, Richardson, Texas, for one month as a Post Manager. Abhishek is a member of MFI Innovation team from the Framework department and a module expert of Quick panel and Notification modules in Android Framework (SystemUI part). He has cleared Samsung SW Competency Professional, Advanced, and Intermediate coding levels. Abhishek holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Harcourt Butler Technical University. He is proficient in Android, Java, Kotlin, Mobile, test, Dagger, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Apart from his professional life, Abhishek enjoys writing and cinematography. He has made three short films in two years, all of which can be found on his YouTube Channel: "White Cape Productions."
