Abhishek Kumar is a highly skilled software engineer with over 13 years of experience in the semiconductors industry. He is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm's Adreno Graphics Research Team, where he is responsible for developing and optimizing GPGPU/Compute workloads, identifying architectural inefficiencies in existing GPU HW, and proposing next-gen GPU HW architectural improvements. Abhishek is particularly interested in Full Stack Software/System Software Engineering and Development for HPC & AI systems, and he has a wealth of experience in HPC-Parallel Computing, Distributed AI-Machine and Deep Learning Model, Deep Learning framework for HPC and AI, Online-Trading Systems/Hardware accelerators. Abhishek has a Master's degree (MS) and Bachelor's degree (BSc Research) from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where he studied Materials. He is also a skilled Full Stack Developer with experience in AI and Blockchain technologies and has worked on several freelance projects in this area. Abhishek is passionate about data modeling and simulations for data analytics and data science projects, and he has collaborated with several startups and government agencies on such projects. Before joining Qualcomm, Abhishek worked at Hewlett Packard, where he was involved in High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI, and HP Labs. He has also worked on several projects related to Exascale computing, OpenShmem, OpenFAM, Libfabric, and UCX. Abhishek has a strong background in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and ML, and he is a Research Scientist with several publications to his credit. In his free time, Abhishek enjoys practicing yoga and listening to music. He is also an active contributor to the Full Stack AI Apps Github organization, where he collaborates with other developers on AI and Blockchain projects.
