Abhishek Mall is a Co-Founder of karostartup, a platform that helps startups and entrepreneurs build their first teams by connecting passionate young aspiring students to young startups. With a vision of internship for every college student across Bharat by 2024, Abhishek has successfully placed 5,000+ interns and more than 10,000+ startups are connected. He started karostartup in 2019 as a Quora for startups in India and soon realized the problem of hiring interns. He then started sharing internships from social media, and now the platform has grown to have 1,000 active companies hiring and 22 million people consuming their content on Instagram. In addition to internships, Abhishek's short classes and skilling platform have helped more than 500+ students to learn from CXOs and developers from top unicorn companies and get placed as interns. He is passionate about helping young students and startups, and his efforts have been recognized by many. Before starting karostartup, Abhishek worked as a founding member of mall91, where he was responsible for the CEO office and designed strategies that helped to increase the revenue from $250K to $1.5 million in just 6 months. He also personally connected with more than 40,000 small resellers Kirana across Bharat. Prior to that, he worked as a B2B-Corporate Relationship Manager at Hundred Plus, where he was responsible for building India's first and largest "Assisted" E-commerce platform dedicated to rural and semi-urban women via appointing female virtual retailers. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. He completed his schooling from Little Flower School ICSE and St. Anthony Convent School ICSE, where he studied Computer Science, Maths, and Computer. With 3.76 years of relevant experience, Abhishek is committed to helping young students and startups achieve their goals and aspirations.
