Abhishek Meena is a seasoned data engineer with over 7 years of experience in the field. He has a strong background in developing web applications and has since moved on to writing data pipelines for batch and incremental ingestion. Abhishek is highly skilled in optimising infrastructures and introducing stacks that help reduce ingestion and query time, such as Impala. He has also restructured infrastructures and ingestion pipelines to handle terabytes of data that get ingested every day and hundreds of terabytes of data that get queried every day. Abhishek has extensive experience with Kafka and Spark Streaming and has also conducted research and development of new stacks like Druid and Kudu for real-time analytics. Currently, Abhishek is the Systems and Hadoop Administrator for the Big Data Project at Freshworks. Abhishek's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, where he graduated in 2016. He also completed his High School education at Subodh Public School in 2012, where he studied PCM & IT. Abhishek is highly proficient in Data Engineering, infra, Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Web, and Software Engineering. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to expand his skillset.
