Abhishek Pathak is a highly skilled software engineer with over 12 years of experience in distributed systems and machine learning platforms. He is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Airbase, where he is responsible for designing and developing cloud-based solutions. Abhishek has a strong background in full-stack feature engineering and has worked on flagship products like SKIL. Abhishek has also worked as a Senior Engineer/ Technical Lead at Skymind.ai, a YC W16 startup based in San Francisco. He was the owner of a cloud-friendly platform to initiate and manage distributed compute jobs, specifically batch training/inference of models using spark-submit. The platform provided an abstraction across various cloud providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure, and was designed with extensibility in mind. He was the sole developer of the project and wrote and maintained both the backend (as a microservice) and the UI. Abhishek has also worked as an SDE-3 at Loanzen, where he designed a centralized financial platform to process (and audit) all business transactions. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including software engineering, machine learning, AWS, Spark, Azure, GCP, UI, and backend development.
