Abhishek Patil is an experienced Software Engineer and Image Processing Expert with a strong background in Satellite Image Processing and Remote Sensing Data Products Pipeline. He holds a B.tech. degree in Avionics from the Indian Institute of Space Science And Technology and an M.tech degree in Software Systems & Data Analytics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Abhishek is a skilled engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex problems. He has a proven track record of building image processing software for satellite and drone images, and has worked with several companies in the past, including azista industries, where he consulted for data processing software, and ISRO, where he completed a research development internship. During his internship at ISRO, Abhishek designed an algorithm that is able to search archives of satellite images and generate ranked results over the Indian landmass within just 2 seconds. This project, titled "Content-Based Image Retrieval and Geotagging for Satellite Images," was a major success and demonstrated Abhishek's expertise in the field of image processing. Currently, Abhishek is the Chief Technology Officer at ci metrics, where he is responsible for building image processing software for satellite and drone images.
