Abhishek Ranjan is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, currently focused on building features for Outlook mail. With almost 5 years of experience in the industry, Abhishek has worked with a variety of technologies and has a strong background in web development, Javascript, Python, Ruby, test, Redux, microservices, Flask, backend, Typescript, and ReactJS. Before joining Microsoft, Abhishek worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Talentica, where he contributed to the development of a digital lending platform that connects customers and lenders to accelerate the home loan experience. He also worked on an application that curates the world's regulations to help businesses with compliance and an omnichannel customer engagement platform for customer management used by Cisco. Abhishek's expertise in web development is evident from his experience in building micro-frontends for specific business needs, implementing API controllers on Rails server, and designing and developing independent Factories and interceptors for converting Rails-based YAML driven forms to React JSON schema. He has also worked on implementing REST APIs and utils in ExpressJS, building microservices in Flask for compliance data, and developing responsive web components for data visualization using chart.js and apex charts on Angular. Abhishek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is passionate about building and loves to work on complex projects that challenge him to learn and grow.
