Abhishek Roy is a co-founder of furo.fit, a gamified AI-powered fitness social network that aims to motivate users to pick up healthier habits. With over 18 years of tech industry experience, Abhishek has been involved in entrepreneurship, sales and marketing, software engineering and development, architecture, big data, people and product management, client interactions, hiring, and a host of activities across enterprise, web, and mobile solutions. He has worked with more than 100 organizations in the health tech, machine learning, data mining and analytics, big data, consumer, social media, mobile, travel, online banking, and billing domains, positively impacting over 100,000 lives so far across 20+ countries. Abhishek is a long-distance runner and has been running 10ks, half marathons, and marathons for the last 14 years. He is passionate about inspiring people to get fitter, pick up running, and live an active lifestyle. Abhishek has also co-founded Feetapart, an employee wellbeing platform for organizations of all sizes, and worked as a technical manager at Qyuki Digital Media, leading and working on the data platform team. Abhishek holds an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies from Informatics Singapore, a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Electronics from Bangalore Institute of Technology, and completed his CBSE and Std VIII education from Rajghat Besant School and St. Thomas School, respectively. He is proficient in AI, big data, mobile, product management, ML, and web technologies, with 16.69 years of relevant experience. As a co-founder of furo.fit, Abhishek is committed to building a global social fitness platform powered by AI and gamification. The platform offers an endurance-focused (walk, run, ride) beginner-friendly fitness community with personalized plans and innovative challenges for end-users, and a private, gamified social network to help engage employees, build healthy habits, and foster community & team bonding for employers and communities.
