Abhishek Shrivastava is a product-minded engineering leader with a passion for taking ideas from 0 to 1 across all stacks and technologies. He has a strong background in Ads, Commerce, and Blockchain/FinTech domains. Currently, he is a Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead Manager) at Google, leading the Ads Next team, part of Ads Quality. His team is responsible for launching and landing new Ad features and products on Google Search with a flow-through revenue in the order of Billions. Abhishek manages the engineering team while working closely with leadership, product, and UX teams to ideate, strategize, design, develop, and test novel ways for generating new incremental revenue from Search Ads. He primarily codes in C++ with Java, Python, and Go as secondary languages. Abhishek has a proven track record of successfully founding and leading engineering teams. He co-founded EventsHigh, an online B2B2C events & activities marketplace in India with over 1 Million MAU, which was successfully acquired by Treebo Hotels in 2018. At Events High, he led the engineering team, defined the product vision and engineering strategy, set company-wide OKRs for the customer and merchant platforms, spearheaded all feature launches and external integrations, and designed and implemented from ground-up the critical event-ticketing system with payment gateway integration, greatly reducing friction of 3P integrations and driving 300K transactions worth over 1M$ per month. Abhishek has also worked as a Software Engineer in the Search Ads Quality team at Google, launching new Ad formats for Google Search driving over XXX M$ in revenue. He built a scalable MR pipeline for automated quality evaluation of billions of structured ads content provided by advertisers. Abhishek holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from NIT Tiruchirappalli.
