Abhishek Soni is a highly motivated and passionate SDET/Test Lead with over 9 years of experience in end-to-end software testing. He has expertise in various testing methodologies such as Selenium, CodeceptsJs, Rest Assured, HTTP Client API automation testing, Performance testing, Functional, Regression, Database, End to End, and UAT testing support. Abhishek has progressed through various testing roles starting from QA Trainee to test lead, SME, and SDET, delivering testing across multiple projects. Abhishek has worked as an Onsite Test Lead, Test SME, Automation Test Analyst from Feb 2015 to Jan 2020 at client location in the United Kingdom (UK). He has a solid understanding of various development models and is currently working on Agile. Abhishek has expertise in creating automation frameworks and performance frameworks as per the requirements. He has strong knowledge of working closely with Offshore and Onsite teams and worked collaboratively with dev teams, Database teams, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and WebOps. Abhishek has demonstrated people leadership skills by coaching and mentoring his team. He has experience in QA & Test Policy, E2E Test Strategy, and Planning. He has also been involved in testing standards & process improvement. Abhishek has been part of the creation of estimates for cost and resources for the project/programme. Currently, Abhishek works as an SDET at Maersk, where he has created automation frameworks for the platform using codeceptjs. He has also created performance projects for the platform using k6. Abhishek has enhanced UI automation framework and load testing capability as per industry standards. He has set up pipelines for continuous integration of UI, API automation, and Load testing suites. Abhishek has empowered the QA team by making reusable automation & performance frameworks and provided necessary functional/technical knowledge. Abhishek has previously worked as an Automation Test Lead and Senior Test Engineer/Onsite Coordinator for Zensar. As a Test Lead, he created and managed the Test Approach by defining test strategy. He also developed and reviewed test plans for individual test phases. Abhishek was responsible for creating and executing automation and functional test scripts. He managed and developed a team of test resources to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. As a Senior Test Engineer/Onsite Coordinator, Abhishek created automation test scripts using Selenium, performed requirement gathering and test planning, and provided UAT support to business users.
