Abhishek Surana is a highly experienced product and growth leader with a passion for leading teams in innovative environments and building world-class products at a global scale. With over 14 years of relevant experience, Abhishek has worked in both consumer and SaaS businesses, making him a well-rounded professional. Currently, Abhishek is the Director of Product Management at Freshdesk, where he heads the product and growth teams. In this role, he is responsible for driving product strategy and ensuring that the company's products meet the needs of customers while also driving growth. Before joining Freshdesk, Abhishek held the position of Director of Product Management at human, where he led the go-to-market strategy for the company's Ads integrity products. In this role, he worked with sales to close and manage large accounts, and oversaw product and partnerships. He was also responsible for technical leadership spanning across engineering and data science teams to build products that include from UX work for reporting down to core Machine Learning based detection capabilities. Abhishek is also a founder and CEO of Nice, a mobile video platform for product shopping that enables experts and influencers around the world to review products and make money. In this role, he wore multiple hats as CEO, Product & Engineering, and managed a team of 5 engineers and 1 designer. He secured $300K seed funding and joined the elite 500 Startups program. Nice grew to ~1M+ users with 40% weekly retention and ~$25K MRR. Abhishek holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
