Abhishek Vaid is an experienced Engineering Leader with over 10 years of experience in building complex and scalable products and managing engineering teams. He is a former entrepreneur who is passionate about technology, software, and business. Currently, Abhishek is working as the Engineering Leadership at CBH, where he is responsible for leading the team and delivering quality products. Abhishek's experience includes working as a Principal Engineer at Prophecy, where he headed the Metadata team and was responsible for backend design, execution, delivery, and support of key product features. He also worked as a Technical Architect / Engineering Manager at Urban Company, where he contributed to consumer growth vertical by designing, architecting, optimizing, and maintaining software frameworks and allied implementations. Additionally, he managed a high output team of Senior and Junior Developers in Growth Engineering vertical. Before joining Urban Company, Abhishek was a Co-Founder and CTO at Frrole AI, a Bangalore-based startup and an AI platform that analyzes large-scale social data streams to power interesting consumer intelligence use-cases. He has adequate hands-on experience and deep interest in disciplines like Large scale Software Implementations, Machine Learning, Data Science, and design/implementation of Data-driven Platforms. Abhishek is a strong advocate of continuous self-driven growth and is an active participant on leading self-learning platforms like edX, Coursera, Udacity, Udemy, DataCamp, and rest. He spends anywhere between 10 to 15 hours per week on these platforms to learn new technologies. Abhishek holds a 5-Year Dual Degree - (Bachelors + Masters) of Technology in Computer Science from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management. He has also contributed to multiple academic projects and has published a few research papers.
