Abhitab Jain is an accomplished early stage investor and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in developing and executing business strategies and process initiatives. He is deeply passionate about creating new products and services that solve business needs and fulfill customer delight through innovative solutions. Abhitab holds an MBA from a top 25 US B-school with a full scholarship, specializing in finance and marketing. Currently, Abhitab is an EiR/Operating Partner at GSF India, a leading early stage tech startup accelerator. He is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Abhitab leads the GSF Bangalore office operations, including sourcing and financial/market evaluation of over 700 startups to select and invest in new batches, term sheet negotiations, and deal closure with startups. He has also designed and managed the Silicon Valley global program to connect with mentors and investors from the valley. Abhitab works closely with the current GSF portfolio startups to mentor them in product/market fit, customer acquisition and engagement, UX, digital marketing, offline and online growth hacking, business matrices, team building, monetization, and next round of fundraising. He is an investor and board observer in portfolio companies. Previously, Abhitab worked at Raymond as Manager Corporate (strategy) and Executive assistant to Chairman & MD office of CMD. He performed financial and business analysis of different business segments, analyzed sales and operational performance of retail categories, and worked with business heads to identify new organic and inorganic opportunities in the engineering and FMCG sectors. Abhitab has also worked as an independent investor/mentor, advising startup teams in their product strategy, growth hacking, marketing challenges, monetize plan, and fundraising. He has developed strong networks and partnerships with the startup ecosystem - VCs, angel groups, incubators/accelerators, industry bodies, and startup leaders to source deals and build a pipeline of potential leads. Abhitab's education history includes an MBA from the University of Minnesota, specializing in finance and marketing, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from MNNIT.
