Abhivyakti Gautam is a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment. Currently working at Neuralink, Abhivyakti has extensive experience in the design and fabrication of neural interfaces, microelectrode material engineering, and characterization. Abhivyakti's expertise in Micro-Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) is a result of her graduate-level course at Neuralink. Before joining Neuralink, Abhivyakti worked as an Intern at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM), where she was responsible for screening and testing effective combinatorial therapies among approved cancer drugs for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) using single-cell RNA-seq based regulatory network analysis in R. Abhivyakti's experience as a Research Assistant at San Diego State University involved the design and fabrication of thin-film microelectrode arrays in a cleanroom environment using photolithography, thin-film metallization, PECVD, plasma RIE, and wet etch chemistry. She also conducted electrochemical characterization in-vitro using electrochemical impedance spectrometry and cyclic voltammetry (CV) and studied charge transfer mechanisms for microelectrode materials in-vitro using voltage transient analysis. Abhivyakti has hands-on experience with metrology such as optical microscopy, SEM, profilometry, and stress analysis. Abhivyakti holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Bioengineering from San Diego State University, where she achieved a 3.81 GPA. She also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Instrumentation and Control from NSIT, where she achieved a 3.5 GPA. Abhivyakti's tech stack includes skills in test, research scientist, computer vision, and other relevant areas. With 4.77 years of relevant experience, Abhivyakti is a creative problem solver who thrives in challenging environments. She is self-motivated and has a passion for exploring new technologies and techniques to solve complex problems.
