Abinash Mohanty is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in deep neural networks, computer vision, hardware accelerator design, and autonomous driving. He is currently working at Amazon, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to improve the performance of various products and services. Abinash has over 6 years of experience in the field of machine learning and has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry. In his previous role as a Senior Design Engineer at Fabu America, Inc., he was responsible for developing deep neural networks for computer vision using image and LiDAR sensor data. He also designed and trained low precision networks and developed hardware accelerators using Verilog and high-level synthesis. Abinash also worked on prototyping using FPGA and developed a framework with Tensorflow and Caffe backend and Python APIs for accelerator validation. Prior to joining Fabu America, Inc., Abinash worked as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Mobai Tech, Inc., where he developed deep learning algorithms for autonomous driving and data fusion for autonomous driving. He also designed hardware accelerators with real-time execution for obstacle detection. Abinash holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. He has a solid understanding of ML, computer vision, Tensorflow, neural networks, Python, backend, research scientist, and deep learning.
