Abishak Kodi is a Backend Engineer at Turo, with a passion for Food Tech, Mobility, and IOT. He has over 7 years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Abishak's expertise lies in developing, maintaining, and scaling both the frontend and backend of various applications. Previously, Abishak worked as a Software Engineer at Zume Inc., where he was responsible for developing and integrating customer requested features with the Zume Platform. He also architected the separation of legacy code monolith into functional, containerized microservices. Abishak's tech stack includes VueJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Helm. Before Zume Inc., Abishak worked as a Manufacturing Associate at Revance Therapeutics Inc. where he performed buffer and media preparation following written electronic batch records to service the upstream and downstream operations of intermediate, bulk, and final drug product manufacturing. He also participated in process development studies for drug product fill/finish operations. Abishak holds a BS in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program from Hack Reactor.
