Abiy Seifu is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with almost 18 years of relevant experience in the industry. Abiy is a skilled professional who has worked with various technologies and has a vast understanding of software engineering. Abiy has worked with many renowned companies throughout his career. He was an A* Member at /dev/color, where he contributed his skills to the development of the company. At Ripple, he worked as a Backend Software Engineer, where he was responsible for building the Ripple enterprise payment processing and pre-transaction messaging orchestration service in Node.js. He also designed, built, and owned load simulation software for benchmarking and revealing complex bugs throughout the Connect stack. Abiy identified and fixed bottlenecks using Linux Perf and Flamecharts to improve Transaction Per Second. He also contributed to gatewayd, Ripple's open-source gateway software, and built a Bitcoin bridge plug-in. Abiy collaborated across the engineering team on code reviews to ensure work was clean, DRY, and modular. He wrote documentation, unit and integration tests, and built deployment and configuration tools using Ansible and Bash.
