Abolfazl Shahbazi is a highly skilled Senior AI Software Engineer currently working at Intel Corporation. With over 15 years of relevant experience, he has developed a wide range of skills and interests in various areas of technology. His current interests include benchmarking and optimizing AI workloads on GKE, AWS, and bare-metal using Intel Model Zoo, contributing to Intel Optimized TensorFlow Docker images, Python wheels, and Conda packages, optimizing AI workloads for Kubernetes, contributing to the Kubeflow project, developing profilers for DL workloads on Intel hardware, and working on software security development lifecycle (SDL) and CI/CD on Jenkin. Abolfazl is also passionate about mentoring and guiding others in the field. In his previous roles, Abolfazl has worked as a Big Data Analytics Technical Engineering lead, providing Hadoop technology support to the team, troubleshooting Hbase and HDFS, improving automation infrastructure, defining guidelines, and contributing to CDH auto-configuration and tuning. He has also worked on integration testing, functional testing, and test automation in Python. Abolfazl has worked at Intel in the past as a Platform Validation Engineer, where he was responsible for validating Intel Anti-Theft technology, creating test frameworks, tracking defects, and upgrading BIOS and firmware. He has also worked at Lingo Systems as a Software Localization Engineer, where he designed and implemented protocols for the ACCU-CHEK® 360° diabetes management system, validated insulin pumps and readers, and created Norton Ghost images for quick test environment setup. Abolfazl holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, and he has also studied Computer Science at Portland State University and Mathematics at Sharif University of Technology.
