Abraham M Joseph is a Full Stack GIS Professional with over 17 years of experience in web, desktop, and database applications. He has a strong background in Java Enterprise Edition technologies for server and standalone applications development, and has worked with various Rich Internet Applications (RIA) development frameworks such as SVG, Adobe Flex, GWT, and HTML5. Abraham has a proven track record of delivering quality code following good programming practices and Test Driven Development(TDD). He has experience in leading offshore teams, mentoring developers and testers, and coordinating onshore-offshore activities. He is a quick learner, team player, mentor, and communicator who enjoys learning new technologies, preparing Proof of Concepts, and debugging complex systems. Currently, Abraham works as a Senior GIS Developer at weatherzone. In his previous role at coextrix technologies, he led a team of developers and testers for drillinginfo, mentoring them, coordinating onshore-offshore activities, and supervising and maintaining project infrastructure at offshore. He also developed Ohio Land Grids mapserver changes for the project All State Lease Expansion. Prior to coextrix technologies, Abraham worked as a Sr. Software Consultant at symcon global technologies, where he was responsible for the full implementation of Drillinginfo's International product www.diiinfo.com. He ported the codebase to accommodate global customers and data, and developed different kinds of search and content presentation for global customers. Abraham holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from c-dac and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Kerala.
