Achilles Rasquinha is a highly skilled Software Engineer with 4.94 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Graduate Assistant at Helikar Lab, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has compiled GLPK in WASM to perform a pure browser-based solution for large-scale linear programming problems. He has also developed and open-sourced a large-scale human metabolic pathways visualizer built using WebGL. His work in biomodelling was invited at the European Bioinformatics Institute in Cambridge, UK. Achilles has managed a team of 10+ interns for 8+ months, launching their projects and receiving outstanding feedback on his leadership, management, and mentorship. He has also led the team towards utilizing an automated operations pipeline using Docker Compose, improving build-to-deploy time, thereby reducing latency by 90%. He has built and maintained internal toolkits for automated builds and deploys. He has also redesigned server-code from Java-based SpringBoot to a NodeJS, Socket.IO, Redis Queue stack.
