Achim Schlosser is a data-driven manager, innovator, and computer scientist with over 17 years of relevant experience. He currently serves as the CTO and member of the executive board at the European netID Foundation, where he is responsible for the strategic development of products related to Single Sign-on and Consent Management/Addressability. Achim is an expert in privacy technology and has a proven track record of implementing them at scale. Achim graduated from RWTH Aachen with a degree in computer science and has worked for big European corporations, focusing on data-driven topics with increasing levels of leadership. Prior to his current role, he worked as a senior manager at KPMG, where he played a major role in building up the business around data-driven technologies. He was responsible for setting up and developing KPMG's global technology platforms for data-driven solutions and artificial intelligence, known as KPMG Ignite. He also led the setup and market development of KPMG's advanced analytics offerings in the German market. Before joining KPMG, Achim worked at ParStream, a Cupertino-based Big Data startup that was acquired by Cisco. He served as the senior director of engineering, where he led product development and was responsible for quality assurance and development teams. He collaborated with the CTO and chief architect to define the product roadmap and functional design of product requirements. Achim also led technical partner management, training, and technical enablement of re-sellers in Italy, South Africa, Korea, and Israel. He was responsible for technical integration with partners, including BI tools like Qlik and ETL tools like Knime. Achim's education history includes a Diplom equiv MSc in computer science from RWTH Aachen University. His tech stack includes senior software engineering, research science, big data, QA, ETL, and integration.
