Achin (Ace) Kulshrestha is a seasoned Research Scientist with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Machine Learning. He currently serves as the AR/ML/Privacy Specialist at Google Daydream, where he is primarily responsible for building ML models in the augmented reality and privacy domain. Prior to joining Google, Achin has worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Facebook and Yelp. During his tenure at Yelp, he focused on abuse detection and building defenses against account takeovers. At Facebook, he created Project Memoir, a system that helps triage complex security and privacy bugs in the Facebook platform. Achin is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he served as a research assistant on projects related to utilizing crowd-sourcing in robotics, and fragmentation vulnerabilities in TLS protocols. Achin's expertise lies in the areas of Machine Learning, Research, and Data Analysis. He is proficient in various programming languages and tools, including Python, R, and SQL. He is also well-versed in statistical modeling, data visualization, and experimental design. In his current role at Google, Achin is utilizing his extensive experience and skills to develop innovative solutions that leverage the power of Machine Learning to enhance the user experience and protect user privacy.
