Achint Aggarwal (PhD) is a highly accomplished Program Manager with over 11 years of experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Program Manager Perception, A.I. & Data, ADAS at Continental, he is responsible for leading strategy, business development, and project management for Perception, Maps, A.I. and Data for ADAS systems. Achint has a proven track record of success in managing large-scale projects and teams. In his previous role as Project Manager, Sensor Fusion & Environment Model, ADAS at Continental, he was responsible for the development of Sensor Fusion & Environment Models for all ADAS products, with an R&D budget of over 40 Million Euros and a Global team of ~150 Engineers. He also defined and executed the Strategy and Roadmap for Sensor Fusion products at Continental. Prior to joining Continental, Achint worked as the Global Coordinator of Advanced Engineering, ADAS at Continental Automotive- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. He established the Advanced Engineering footprint of ADAS in India and Romania and coordinated engineering projects globally in Sensor Fusion, Computer Vision, and SW Testing domains. Achint holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universität Bremen, a Master of Science in Robotics from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Technology in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is proficient in Computer Vision and Test technologies and has a deep understanding of the latest trends and developments in the automotive industry.
