Achintya Gupta is a passionate data scientist and quant with a background in Electrical Engineering. He discovered his love for coding during his undergrad years when he was introduced to MATLAB in his college Power Electronics Laboratory. Since then, he has been coding basic IC, SCADA, building simulations, and working on iOT projects. His interest in collecting data led him to Machine Learning, which he believes can be used for social good to solve problems like Climate Change, Poverty, and Education. Achintya has experience in Data Science, Statistical Modelling, NLP, Predictive Modelling, and Deep Learning. He has worked closely with Innovation Teams, Data Engineering Teams, and Business Teams to brainstorm, architect, and develop solutions. He is currently working as a Data Scientist with Quantum Black, where he has been involved with projects in the Financial Sector, including Credit Risk Modelling and Research Paper Implementations. In the past, Achintya has worked as a Professional Speaker at Great Indian Developer Summit, where he gave a talk on Time Series Modelling. He has also worked as a Data Scientist at Roadzen, where he focused on Data Science and Deep Learning Research, and their implementation in Python. His projects at Roadzen include cReader, FlightDelay, and in-house asset for Deep Learning Classification Problem Statements. Achintya has a Postgraduate Degree in Applied Statistics from IGNOU, a Certificate of Quantum Excellence from IBM Qiskit Global Summer School in Quantum Machine Learning, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia. He also studied Actuarial Science at the Institute of Actuaries of India and completed his High School Diploma in Science from Seth Anandram Jaipuria School. Achintya's tech stack includes Research Scientist, Data Scientist, AI, Python, Deep Learning, ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Data Engineering, iOS, Senior Software Engineer, Object detection, Object Detection, Tensorflow, and Pytorch.
