Achirava is an experienced Member of Technical Staff with a strong background in the information technology and services industry. Currently working as an SDE2 at Microsoft, Achirava has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Software Engineering from VIT University, Chennai, with a focus on SDLC in the .NET platform. Achirava has 4.12 years of relevant experience and has previously worked at NetApp as a Member of Technical Staff and as an Intern. At NetApp, Achirava extensively researched and learned the features and capabilities of EWS and CSOM offered by Microsoft, in order to develop the Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive backup and restore functionality in SaasBackup. Microsoft exchange backup and restore functionality is actively used across a lot of enterprises. Achirava has also developed a log parsing tool based on log4net, which improved the average bug fix time of the product. Achirava has also developed a command-line tool for SaaS Backup to perform most of the operations through PowerShell in windows, similar to kubectl for Kubernetes. This tool is especially useful for system admins to automate most of their tasks. Achirava has integrated the capabilities of the tool with Get-Help feature of PowerShell, describing various functionalities offered by the tool, along with sufficient examples, to make it easy for anyone to get started using the tool. Achirava is proficient in software engineering, testing, integration, MongoDB, web, and Kubernetes. Achirava has a strong engineering background and has been actively involved in architectural discussions and documentation of the product.
