Adam Alpert is a Co-founder at Pangea.app, a company that connects businesses with top early-career talent they can contract-to-hire. He is a graduate of Brown University, where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History. As an undergraduate, Adam was always looking for interesting work outside the classroom that aligned with what he was good at, which at the time was film. He saw an opportunity to create a new avenue for students to gain experience while creating value for companies that didn’t have formal internship programs. This inspired him to co-found Pangea. At Pangea, Adam and his team are reimagining how companies find and work with college talent, making the next generation of talent accessible to anyone. He believes that students should not have to choose between working in the cafeteria or taking an unpaid internship, and Pangea provides a solution to this problem. Adam is passionate about creating opportunities for students to gain valuable experience and skills, and he is committed to helping businesses find the right talent for their needs. Adam's work at Pangea has been recognized by various organizations, including the Get Started RI Finalist in 2020, RI INNO Top Startups to Watch in RI in 2020, MassChallenge RI Finalist/Top Startup in 2019, and RI INNO Blazer Award Winner in 2019. He has also been named a Kairos Fellow in 2018, 50 Rising Entrepreneurs in Boston (_undercore.vc) in 2018 and 2017, and 25u25 in Rhode Island (RIInno) in 2017. In addition to his work at Pangea, Adam is an Advisory Board Member for rihub, a state-backed non-profit organization focused on supporting the RI startup ecosystem. He is also a W21 Batch member of Y Combinator, a startup accelerator that has backed some of the world's most successful companies, such as Airbnb, Doordash, and Reddit. Adam is a sought-after speaker and has spoken at various events and universities, including Startup Island, Harvard Club of Boston, Brown University, and Northeastern University, among others. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
