Adam Bass is an experienced Mechanical Engineer II at Northrop Grumman with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is a key member of the LITENING targeting pod team and has played a significant role in the design, analysis, and qualification of upgrades to the pod used on F-16, F-18, and B-52 aircraft. Adam has also been the MechE Lead on multiple CCA designs and LRU upgrades, taking them from initiation through review and flight test. He is the primary engineer on the next-gen large aperture pod forward section, where he provides optical liaison, parts design, and CG analysis. Adam executed meticulous reconciliation of contract discrepancies to limit cost and adhere to tight customer deadlines. Adam holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from Northern Kentucky University. Adam's technical skills include test and he has experience working with relevant technologies.
