Adam Bloom is a seasoned software engineer with over 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. He started programming at the age of 11 and has since worked with numerous languages, frameworks, and tools. Adam's favorite tool is a simple text editor and a command line. Currently, Adam is working as a software engineer at Volkswagen, where he is responsible for developing software for the company. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Software Developer at 3sharp, where he developed a CMS in .NET Framework and Angular 2, implemented admin and content entry screens, expanded search functionality, and contributed to a full design revamp. He also developed a .NET Core and Angular 2 SPA and built-out Azure infrastructure for hosting, continuous deployment, and databases. Before joining 3sharp, Adam worked as a Software Developer Engineer II at Microsoft, where he updated marketing sites, built pages in .NET MVC projects using CSS and JavaScript, and implemented Microsoft's Accessibility Standards across sites, using tools such as Windows Narrator, Keros, high contrast modes, and landmark modes to identify and fix accessibility issues. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he graduated in 2009.
