Adam Gries is a highly experienced product manager and entrepreneur with over 16 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Material World, where he leads all product development and growth strategies. He also oversees the engineering team and makes key decisions about architectures, technologies, hiring, and programming approaches. Before co-founding Material World, Adam founded and served as CEO of OKpanda Inc., which was later sold to ALC Press. OKpanda is an English learning platform that utilizes technology and big data to offer an integrated experience of digital practice and live lessons, making the English learning experience more personalized, effective, and fun. At OKpanda, Adam oversaw all curriculum development, product development, and engineering. Adam also co-founded Product X, where he architected and coded Pinslist, a visual-driven ecommerce site with innovative UI/UX and content, coded in NodeJS backend + railway, JS front end. He also architected and coded Superhumangoals, a social habit-tracking and goal achievement system, coded in LAMPhp+JS. Additionally, he explored business models and development in 18 verticals. Adam holds a B.Sc., B.A. in Neuroscience, Economics, and Psychology from Brandeis University, where he also completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at Sophia University. His tech stack includes product management, big data, NodeJS, Javascript, UI, frontend, and backend.
