Adam Lichty is a seasoned Lead Engineer with a passion for Green Tech. Currently working at Garmentier, he is responsible for overseeing all stages of product/system development, from vision and strategy to solution design and implementation. He leads a team of 4 engineers and heads up their Scrum ceremonies, taking on Scrum Master responsibilities. Adam is also closely involved with the Product Owner and Designer to create a friendly, iterable, and scalable interface. With over 18 years of relevant experience, Adam has worked with several companies in the past. At Lululemon, he served as the engineering lead to address shortcomings in web performance and spearheaded technical investigation and planning to help communicate the value of addressing performance issues. These improvements were attributed to over $100M+ in annual gains. He also drove productivity improvements in speed of development, performance, and reduced feature thrashing through more thoughtful planning and communication both intra and cross team. At iunu, Adam contributed to the development of APIs, clients, and supporting repos backing an international greenhouse environmental and inventory monitoring platform. He led planning and development of an internal component library to separate UI logic from the continually expanding business logic of their web app. This allowed for improved testability, maintenance, stability, and faster turn around on new feature development. Adam's education includes Metropolitan State University of Denver and Colorado Mesa University. He has a strong technical background with expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Web Development, UI/UX Design, CI/CD, Redis, SQL, MongoDB, Redux, AWS, Ruby, Javascript, Research Science, Postgres, and AngularJS.
