Adam Ned is a driven and ambitious Senior Economics major and Sociology minor at Occidental College. He is currently working as a Venture Associate at LvlUp Ventures, formerly known as WestWave Ventures, where he is responsible for managing the capital raise process from due-diligence to investor relations. Adam is a skilled analyst with a keen eye for detail, having previously worked in the Wealth Management space, where he made a series of investment recommendations after completing a lengthy due-diligence process. Adam's experience in the financial industry has equipped him with a deep understanding of market trends and a keen ability to analyze investment opportunities. During his time at Larchmont Capital, he conducted a survey of public software companies with market capitalization over $1B, analyzing growth potential, profitability, and defensible market position. He also produced a five-year analysis on the database industry, focusing on transition to cloud trends, and completed comparable analysis on dozens of companies, resulting in investment recommendations. Adam's experience extends beyond the financial industry. As a Design Engineer at Kulite Semiconductor Products Inc., he 3D modeled twenty-six sensor products using Solid Edge (self-taught) and created and presented PowerPoint presentations to get each drawing approved and into production. He also redesigned a semiconductor strain gauge for the latest fabrication process using 2D AutoCAD. Adam is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. He is set to graduate from Occidental College in 2021 with a degree in Economics and a minor in Sociology. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Adam is well-equipped to take on any challenge that comes his way.
