Adam Peterson is a hard-working, reliable senior software engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He enjoys learning new things and working with others to solve tough challenges and maximize efficiency. Currently, Adam is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Trust & Will, a company that is disrupting the trust and estate planning industry with an easy, fast, and secure way to set up estate plans online. Adam's recent accomplishments include building Tapestry, an open-source orchestration framework for the deployment of user entity data pipelines, using JavaScript/Node.js, AWS, Docker, React, and SQL. He co-created Tapestry with a fully remote team and implemented interactive CLI applications available as NPM packages. He also automated the provisioning of AWS cloud infrastructure to host data ingestion and syncing tools, developed a dashboard to query and graph health monitoring data from AWS resources, and led the implementation of security measures by injecting secrets into Docker Containers at run time. Before joining Trust & Will, Adam worked as a Software Engineer for various companies, including Tapestry, where he co-created the open-source pipeline orchestration framework. He also worked as a self-employed Software Engineer, where he created apps such as RequestBin and Reaction. Adam holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Asbury University. He also attended Launch School from 2019 to 2021.
