Adam Seckel is an experienced Building Framer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working as a Product Engineer at Framer, he has previously held the same role at Intercom where he was responsible for leading front-end engineering and architecture for the company's new team dedicated to reporting. Adam was personally focused on architecting and building a component API for composing new reports, including data fetching and rich data visualization. He also led workshops to determine team vision and collaborated closely with Intercom's design systems team to build new component APIs for layout in Emberjs. Prior to Intercom, Adam worked as a Software Engineer at Goodlord where he integrated React and Typescript to a legacy PHP and jQuery codebase and continuously delivered new features. He worked with product managers to shape scope, design hypotheses, and implement measurement to validate features. Adam also worked with designers to rapidly prototype and validate new features and updates and personally designed and user-tested UI and UX, and information architecture. He championed and architected a scalable UI component library and design system. Adam's education background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology from The University of British Columbia and a certificate in Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Angular from CodeCore Developer Bootcamp. Adam's tech stack includes software engineering, frontend development, UI, Typescript, and PHP. He is a skilled professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products and solutions.
