Adam Wilson is a highly experienced Product Management Leader with a career spanning over 17 years. He is currently working at Google as the Product Management Leader for Google Cloud Platform. In this role, he is responsible for driving product strategy, defining roadmaps, and executing on product plans. Prior to joining Google, Adam worked at Microsoft where he held various senior-level positions. As the Group Product Manager for Power BI, he successfully launched and grew the business intelligence product to five million subscribers over two years. He also developed the groundbreaking Q&A natural language data exploration experience that makes it easy for business users to get insights from their data. Adam's expertise in product management also extends to Azure, where he worked as a Senior Program Manager. In this role, he incubated and launched the Azure DataMarket, a service for developers and analysts to find, explore, and consume valuable free and commercial data sources and APIs from third-party data providers. He developed the marketplace pricing models, managed data provider partners, and built customer demand. He also managed partnerships with third-party ISVs integrating DataMarket capabilities, such as Tableau Desktop, as well as first-party integrations with SQL Server, Excel, and Dynamics products. Adam holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he graduated in 2008. His technical skills include product management, Azure, and SQL. Adam's extensive experience in product management, coupled with his technical background, makes him a valuable asset to any organization.
