Adam Zielinski is a highly experienced Lead iOS Developer and System Architect with over 15 years of relevant experience in software engineering. He is proficient in Swift, Obj-C, C++, C, Java, Perl, PHP, C#, Python, HTML, and Lisp. Adam is well-versed in system design and architecture for iOS devices and low memory embedded systems. He is familiar with iOS, OSX, Windows, UNIX/Linux operating systems and has expertise in JSON, JSONAPI, XML, networking, memory management, multiprocessor systems, digital signal processors (DSP), TCP/IP, RS232, GPS, RF waveform development (SAT, LOS, HF), build coordination, software requirements, and frameworks. Currently, Adam serves as the Senior iOS Engineer at TripActions. Prior to this, he worked as the Senior iOS Engineer at Cake, where he architected, designed, and developed a completely native iOS application from the ground up to work in concert with the Cake web application. He developed a network system that ensured requests were bundled, de-duped, and made only when necessary. Adam also built a rich text editor using TextKit and handled conversions from a custom \"Cake\" XML format to an internal \"NSAttributedStorage\" format. He created a custom navigation bar that allowed for much more customization than the default navigation bar. Before joining TripActions, Adam worked as an iOS Developer (Sorcerer) at SmugMug, where he designed and developed the SmugMug iOS and CameraAwesome iOS applications. He also built various internal frameworks to modularize and reuse code across various platforms and developed a client-side API library for easy consumption of the SmugMug Rest API. Adam worked with a team at Apple to develop an Aperture plugin, which was used to handle data synchronization of a user's local photo library to the SmugMug cloud. Adam holds a BS in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
