Adarsh Antony is a results-driven technical leader with over 15 years of hands-on experience in server management solutions, chassis and rack/blade server firmware management, data-center management, and storage provisioning/backup/restore solutions. He has a strong background in algorithms and data structures, as well as a thorough understanding of Linux kernel subsystems. Adarsh has also demonstrated people management and effective teamwork skills, actively involved in handling various customer escalations. Adarsh is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Cisco, where he is responsible for the firmware management aspects of Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based management service of UCS devices including UCS Manager domains and standalone UCS C-Series Servers. Intersight is running on AWS and implemented as micro-service architecture by Go, with all the micro-services pods managed by Kubernetes and communicating with each other through Kafka message bus. Adarsh has also designed multiple features from scratch on firmware and storage management in UCS, including the design and implementation of chassis profile and chassis profile templates, firmware management features for blades and rack servers, and storage provisioning for blades and rack servers. Prior to his current role, Adarsh worked as a Software Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at Cisco, where he led the UCS team responsible for the firmware management for chassis, rack servers, and blade servers across various server/chassis platforms and endpoints. He has expertise in areas of policy design and software-defined infrastructure and preserving statelessness of the servers and chassis. Adarsh has also worked as a Technical Lead at NetApp, where he was responsible for SnapDrive for UNIX product and worked through multiple releases spanning all cycles of software development. Adarsh holds a pre-degree in Physics, Math, and Chemistry from St. Thomas College Thrissur. He has experience in micro-service architecture, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MongoDB, Netflix conductor, AWS, server architecture, manageability solutions, and data center management solutions. With over 20 years of relevant experience, Adarsh is a highly skilled senior software engineer and product manager.
