Adarsh Honakamble is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer - I at Amazon, currently working in the Alexa Skills Tech Team. He is a Bachelor of Technology passout from the Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Kanpur. Prior to his current role, Adarsh worked with Samsung R&D Institute Noida as a Software Engineer in the RIL Telephony team. Adarsh analyzed multiple network-related features and operator requirements and implemented them in Samsung devices. Additionally, he implemented logic for IMS registration in older chipsets like SDM-450 and SDM-439. Adarsh also worked as an Algorithm Design for LTE and 5G Communication Systems in the Networks R&D team at Samsung. During this time, he implemented the signal processing chain for MIMO wireless communication schemes in MATLAB. Adarsh proposed two algorithms for MAC CE from UE to network for efficient allocation of Uplink Resources and compared the number of padding bytes in both methods with the existing 5G NR resource allocation. He obtained a 300% gain in BER for the HARQ Chase Combining code as compared to the existing standards and reduced the number of padding bytes required by a factor of 4 in comparison to the existing standards. Adarsh has a strong educational background, having completed his Higher Secondary School and Secondary School from G.E.I's M.H. High School and Junior College and P.E.S.T High School and Junior College, respectively. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur.
