He has worked with multiple distribution utilities, including San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO), Salt River Project (SRP), Arizona Public Service (APS), and Duke Energy. Dr. Nagarajan's past companies include General Electric, where he worked as a summer intern, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where he served as a Group Manager. He is currently an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Electrical Engineering Department of the Colorado School of Mines.
