Adarsh Raj is a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist with a passion for Machine Learning and Deep Learning. He is a graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he honed his skills in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Adarsh has over 2.78 years of relevant experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence, NLP, Computer Vision, and Search. Currently working as an Associate Data Scientist at Gartner, Adarsh is responsible for enhancing the customer search experience related to search results, type-ahead suggestions, and knowledge panel using NLP and Learning to Rank. In his previous role as a Data Scientist at Experian, Adarsh employed NLP techniques such as Word Embedding using Glove, NLTK, and Textblob, to classify social media text posts. He also implemented Maximum Known Matching (MKM) scoring method and NLP libraries to split non-camelcase hashtags, and assembled Hashtag Splitting algorithm with text classification, used for Sentimental Analysis for a product launched by the company. Adarsh was also associated with a team involved in building an Insurance chatbot product, using semantic similarity calculated via TF*IDF algorithm. In addition, he tagged images posted on Social Media using YOLO v2 trained on 80 class MS COCO dataset for content cross-promotion. During his Artificial Intelligence Internship at Nayan, Adarsh developed a Decision Support System whose User Interface was built entirely using Kivy in Python. The System performed Descriptive Analysis and Predictive Analysis with Evaluation of Models based on Performance Parameters like Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1 score, and AUC value and ROC curve. He also implemented Genetic Algorithm for model optimization and applied it to the industrial dataset. Adarsh addressed questions raised on Risk Assessment Prediction, Causal Identification, and Incident Prediction arising from datasets. Adarsh has a strong technical background and is proficient in Python, ML, Search, Computer Vision, OpenCV, Deep Learning, Text Classification, SVM, Random Forest, Neural Networks, AWS, XGBoost, Object detection, AI, Hyperparameter, Object Detection, and Tensorflow.
