Adarsh Verma is an Application Engineer - II at Amazon, with a passion for core engineering and performant systems. With almost 3 years of experience in the industry, he has a proven track record of reducing latency from 8 seconds to 1 second for customer-facing services hosted on the AWS stack. He is also contributing to managing infrastructure for the Buy For Others (ebooks) feature in Amazon retail, while simultaneously developing internal tools and automations to improve operational excellence of teams. Prior to Amazon, Adarsh worked as a Software Engineer at Rakuten Inc., where he gained a wealth of experience in building web applications using Java full stack. During his time at Rakuten, he built a digital employee management tool for global organizations, integrated upstream communication within various internal tools, and audited and logged the entire recruitment workflow. Adarsh holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, where he honed his skills in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, AWS, web development, infrastructure, OpenCV, and MySQL. His goal is to become an efficient and amazing engineer and build something humongous for the community on earth.
