Adel Youssef is a Senior Machine Learning Manager with a passion for developing products that solve real-world problems using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Adel has a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale cloud-based distributed systems. He has solid experience in data science and approaches problem solving logically, researching options, avoiding biases, and making the right data-driven conclusions. Adel is an innovator who has launched more than 10 products to market, granted 15 patents, and was the winner of Google Founders Award for Innovation. He is currently leading the Natural Language Understanding (NLU) team within Amazon AI, focusing on transforming the way people get things done through intelligent digital assistants (aka chatbots).
