Adib Faramarzi is an accomplished Android Staff Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, he is associated with TAPSI, where he leads Kotlin-Multiplatform-Mobile in the mobile engineering team, resulting in multi-platform applications and architecture. He has introduced Jetpack Compose and new internal UI frameworks to achieve more agility in developing new features. Adib has created a platform tooling that provides higher development experience and motivation for developers. In his past roles at TAPSI, Adib served as Senior Android Team Lead, where he managed the Passenger and Driver teams and helped team members on their career path through feedback and personal development sessions. He achieved more maintainability, testability, and scalability through new architecture and multi-modularized the applications through module-per-feature architecture. Adib introduced TDD through intra-team knowledge sharing and created a comprehensive network mocking tool to inject request and responses with pre-defined ones on the fly using a developer panel. He also created Watchtower, a network analysis tool that is open-sourced, and Lives, an extension on LiveData that adds missing reactive functions. Adib migrated to Coroutines and Flow (from Rx) to improve the codebase. Prior to that, Adib was Android Team Lead at TAPSI, where he managed and led the Passenger team (Android and iOS) and introduced Clean Architecture with MVVM pattern. Adib holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Kharazmi University. He completed his high school education from Alborz High School. Adib's technical expertise includes Android, Mobile, UI, and iOS.
