Adilson Simões is a Senior Agile Coach at Boston Consulting Group with over 21 years of relevant experience in the field. He has worked with various organizations and has been a part of their Agile transformation journey. Adilson has a strong background in Lean & Agile methodologies and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences with others. Prior to joining Boston Consulting Group, Adilson worked as an Event Organizer & Facilitator at Agile Connect®, a community of interest for people who share Lean & Agile as their common interests. At Agile Connect®, he was responsible for sharing knowledge, experiences, and new ideas with the community members. Adilson also worked as a Product Operations Agile Coach at OutSystems, where he was responsible for guiding all roles inside the product teams into Agile practices that increased the value delivered to customers. He developed and conducted the Product Discovery Assessment in the product teams to provide the right tools and behaviors that would increase the chance of achieving market fit and user adoption while reducing the risks associated with building software products. Adilson has a strong educational background, with an MBA in Project Management from FIAP - Faculdade de Administração Paulista and a degree in Technologist in Data Processing from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. He is a strong believer in hands-on coaching and is always there with the teams when needed. Adilson promotes and experiences real agility where multifunctional product teams shorten the feedback loop day by day and deliver value instead of features. He is also actively involved in designing and implementing the current strategy for the massive organizational adoption of Agile. Adilson is a collaborative team player who is always looking for ways to improve the Agile practices and help teams overcome obstacles to high performance. He believes in using simple but meaningful metrics to identify and prioritize the teams and roles that need help the most.
