Adirtha Borgohain is a Senior Data Scientist at InveniAI with a demonstrated interest and experience in the fields of Software Development and Machine Learning. With 2.86 years of relevant experience, he has expertise in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing and has worked with a wide range of tools and frameworks across various domains like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Fastapi, Transformers, Keras, TensorFlow among others. His primary choice of programming language is Python although he can easily pick up any other language if needed to. Adirtha has built a Named Entity Recognition, Entity Linking and Relation Extraction pipeline for InveniAI’s in-house AI platform, AlphaMeld to extract biomedical entities from texts, disambiguate them to their normalized forms and assign relationships between them. He has also generated node and edge embeddings for a large biomedical knowledge graph to perform target discovery using link prediction inference methods. Adirtha has built automated pipelines for sourcing, extracting and making machine learning predictions on the data through models and writing to Postgresql and neo4j databases using message broker services like RabbitMQ and caching systems like Redis in scheduled environments which reduces the time and cost from the previous end to end flow by more than 2x. Prior to InveniAI, Adirtha has worked as a Data Science Analyst at NetEnrich, Machine Learning Intern at Threatlandscape, Software Development Intern at Geminid Systems, and Social Research Intern at Snehalaya. He has developed and deployed text classification models using SOTA word and character embedding methods to filter out piracy related text content from a corpus of curated articles in a cyber intelligence news platform, KNOW (know.netenrich.com). He has also conceptualized and built a vectorization method using character embedding techniques to vectorize alerts and incident tickets. Adirtha has built Machine Learning solutions to reduce manual intervention on auto-resolving ticketing systems to further reduce SLA response times. Adirtha has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Tezpur University. He has also completed his High School education from Salt Brook Academy - India.
