Adit Daftary is a Junior Trader at IMC Trading and an incoming Analyst at Barclays IB. He is a final year undergraduate student pursuing a BTech in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Adit is currently managing 2.5 million INR trading Futures and Options of Nifty and Banknifty. With a passion for music, badminton, jogging, and travelling, Adit is a certified Scuba Diver and a Medium Blogger. He has worked as a Quantitative Trader at IrageCapital Advisory, where he performed Options Market-Making in the Index (Nifty & BankNifty) and Stock derivatives for the Indian Capital Markets. In this role, he was responsible for ongoing research and strategy optimization based on the changing market microstructure. Adit also developed tools and automated processes to analyze the daily strategy logs and TBT Data using Python and Linux OS. Adit has also worked as a Cohort Member at Ivyline Capital Group. He possesses a strong technical background in Python and is a Research Scientist. Adit has a relevant experience of 1.69 years and has a degree in Engineering from Pace Dadar Junior College. He completed his Middle and High School education from Balmohan Vidyamandir. Adit is a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
